After grouping in 1923 and the formation of the LNER the company set about designing standardised coaching stock. One half of the design was for two series of vestibule wooden bodied stock one 61'6 long, then other 52' long mostly for the ex Great Eastern routes.
These kits represent some of the 61'6 coaches.
The printed side kits include etched floors and trusses, plastic roofs, ends and ventilators, white metal detailing parts and pre-printed sides in full LNER lined teak livery. This allows the modeller to build coaches without having to tackle the complex lined teak livery. Bogies are also required. A choice of etched bogies or Dapol RTR bogies is available.
Full instructions are provided including notes on how to build the underframe without soldering.

A range of etched sides originally designed to covert the Minitrix Gresley coaches into other types. With a spot of filling around the edges these are also suitable for converting Dapol coaches in the same way.
These are provided with instructions and diagrams in case you wish to also rework the roof or underframe. The kits include white metal duckets where appropriate. Additional parts will be needed to rework roof and underframe.

Originally done as a specific request. Sides only and targeted at the Dapol coaches.
Built from 1924 some of these vehicles lasted well into British Rail days.

Single conversion side for converting the Dapol buffet into the British Rail modified form.
This coach was converted for the Flying Scotsman service. It was converted from a toilet third to include a hairdressing saloon and from 1932 a cocktail bar, later used as a buffet.
Using the same construction as the printed side kits but with etched sides, these kits represent some of the Gresley steel bodied coach designs.

One pair of Dapol RTR bogies as used on the lightbar ready Gresley coaches. Includes mounting pin, wheels and power pickups. Preassembled.
These bogies are the version with full footboards.
A pair of coupling adapters that snap fit onto the bogie and provide a NEM mount for couplings. Tested with the Graham Farish NEM couplers. Used in our Gresley suburban kits.
A pair of coupling adapters that snap fit onto the bogie and provide a NEM mount for couplings. Tested with the Graham Farish NEM couplers. Used in our Gresley suburban kits. This version does not allow the coupling to be fitted and removed but provides a glue in mount. This makes it much cheaper.
Designed to allow the Dapol bogies to be used with our etched floor coaches or when scratchbuilding.
